The award was presented during a special visit by:

Their visit recognised the extensive security measures that have been incorporated throughout the facility following advice from Metropolitan Police Designing Out Crime Officers and specialist security experts.
What Is Secured by Design?
Secured by Design (SBD) is the official police security initiative that works to reduce crime through effective design and the use of proven security standards.
Achieving Gold demonstrates that security has been considered at every stage of the building's design, construction and operation, using accredited products alongside expert crime prevention advice.
For clients, it provides independent reassurance that the facility has been assessed against recognised police-backed standards rather than relying solely on marketing claims.

During the presentation, Guy Ferguson praised the achievement, saying:
