A safe deposit box is a storage safe rented to our customers and located in our Grade 9, insurance-approved high-security vault in Oakwood, North London. Our safe deposit boxes provide the ultimate protection for your most valuable possessions, offering peace of mind that your items are safeguarded in a bank-grade security environment.
Our facility operates on a proven two-key locking system for maximum security. Only you can open your box. Each deposit box requires both a customer key (which you keep) and a Vitessa Vault key (held by us). Both keys must be present simultaneously to open your safe deposit box, ensuring that access is only possible when you are present with our authorised staff.
This dual-key system means that neither you nor we can access your safe deposit independently, providing complete security and privacy for your stored valuables.

No! Every client is guaranteed absolute privacy and discretion regarding the contents of their safe deposit box. We also provide a private viewing room for your convenience when accessing your safe deposit box.
What Can I Keep In My Safe Deposit Box?
Your safe deposit box is perfect for storing valuable and irreplaceable items, including:
Documents: Wills, property deeds, birth certificates, passports, marriage certificates, insurance policies, share certificates
Valuables: Jewellery, watches, precious metals, gold, silver, coins, medals, stamps, collectibles
Personal Items: Family photographs, letters, precious memorabilia, small heirlooms, USB drives with important data
Cash and Negotiables: Cash, bonds, rare banknotes
Essentially, any valuable item that would be difficult or impossible to replace can be safely stored in your safe deposit box.
What Can't I Keep In My Safe Deposit Box?
For security and legal compliance, items you may not store in your safe deposit box include guns, knives, firearms, ammunition, chemicals, drugs, or any hazardous materials.
You must ensure that your safe deposit box does not contain anything that is illegal, immoral, obscene, inflammable, or explosive.
Vitessa Vault is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority. We therefore require you to ensure that no contents held in your safe deposit box represent the proceeds of crime or money laundering.
